3DS Max & Maya Indie Licences Revealed 80lvl

Autodesk has revealed 3DS Max and Maya Indie — their new licensing options for users earning under $100,000 per year.

The plans are currently available in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the US, for a limited time only. The limited-time disclaimer means that the company is testing the initiative to determine how and where they should expand it.

Please note that the Indie versions of Max and Maya are fully featured, with no restrictions on render size, file format, plugins, etc. There is a limit of only one indie license per business though, and an income cap. Please note that the license will auto-renew at full price, but you can disable automatic renewal.

The price for Mac and Maya Indie is set at $250 USD per year (prices may vary — in the UK it is £275). You can get more details by visiting the new product pages for 3DS Max Indie and Maya Indie.
